Walcott is a member of the Scott County Library System. It is the oldest county library system in the state and conveniently serves the entire county not covered by municipal services with six branch locations and its traveling bookmobile. The system is headquartered in Eldridge, with branch locations in: Blue Grass, Buffalo, Durant, Princeton, and Walcott.
