The City of Walcott would like to extend their gratitude to Scott County Regional Authority, Republic Services, and Alliant Energy for their donations toward playground upgrades at Water Tower Park. With these funds, the City was able to replace an aged merry-go-round with a new structure called a Ten Spin. The Ten Spin features an accessible, inclusive design that allows children of all abilities to participate in playtime. A soft, poured rubber play surface was also added for extra safety and comfort.
