I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the City of Walcott’s website. Walcott is a community of 1,629 citizens and strives to balance commercial and residential needs to maintain our small-town quality of life. Walcott is fortunate to have many volunteer organizations that are crucial to our motto – “Hearts and Hands Working Together”. The City of Walcott operates under a Mayor/City Council form of government. The Mayor and City Council Members are each elected for four-year staggered terms. The Council adopts all ordinances, resolutions, and policies of the City of Walcott.
The public is welcome to attend City Council Meetings. Public comment is allowed during the meetings under Introduction of Audience/Public Comments but it will be limited. All agenda items must be presented to the City Clerk by Noon on the Friday prior to meetings.
