NOTICE: The City is currently flushing hydrants. Customers may notice decreased pressure or discolored water. This is a temporary situation resulting from flushing sediments out of pipes. If you experience cloudy or discolored water, run the cold water for a few minutes until it clears up. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this maintenance activity.
Eye on Water App
Powered by Badger Meter, Eye On Water lets Walcott water utility customers view their latest water usage on a desktop or mobile device. Customers can quickly view recent water usage with a two-week comparison, view detailed water usage history by the hour, day, week, and month, and sign up to receive alerts for potential leaks. To register for Eye On Water, visit: eyeonwater.com/signup or download the Eye On Water app on your mobile device! You’ll need your account number, which you can find on your water utility bill. This app allows customers to view their water usage, not billing or payment information. EyeonWater Instructions
In conjunction with Scott County, the City of Walcott is participating in the Alert Iowa system to send alerts to the public. Residents can sign up for alerts which can include weather-related information, urgent messaging groups, and city options including urgent (snow emergency, water main breaks, street closures, etc.) or non-urgent (trash collection, hydrant flushing, misc., etc.).
