Hydrant Flushing – The City is flushing hydrants during the month of April. Residents may notice decreased water pressure or discoloration of water. This is a temporary situation resulting from flushing sediment out of the pipes. Should you experience cloudy or discolored water, shut the water off and wait several minutes then run the cold water for a few minutes for the water to clear up. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this maintenance activity.
The City strongly encourages all residents to follow the guidelines provided by the Iowa Department of Public Health and Center of Disease Control. Information is also available at State of Iowa Coronavirus Info or COVID-19 information in the QC at Together QC webpage.
